Costa Rica is known as Central America’s jewel. It is without a doubt one of the most beautiful places on earth to spend a vacation. Our exciting itinerary combines three world-class adventures in one trip!
We begin our 10th IVS/Bio Bio Costa Rica adventure in San Jose.
We will meet in San Jose at the boutique hotel Grano de Oro. After a good night’s rest from our flights and scrumptious breakfast, we will begin our fantastic adventure in Manuel Antonio at a beach resort located along Costa Rica’s Central Pacific coast. There we will have a full day to relax at the beach, tour the famous Manuel Antonio National Park, or choose from a variety of adventure activities. This day is yours to enjoy as you choose!
Then we will travel to the beautiful Rafiki Lodge, where we will have a fun day of rafting on the Savegre River! The Rafiki Lodge is a wilderness luxury tent camp and conservation project, focusing on adventurous sustainable tourism. The lodge is nestled on 842 acres of pristine jungle along the Savegre River, which is 30km South of Quepos and Manuel Antonio.
Finally, we will travel to Sierpe, where we will meet our boat and travel the rest of the way to our spectacular accommodations at Copa de Arbol Beach & Rainforest Resort. Copa de Arbol is an eco-luxury resort boasting a variety of great activities including hiking, snorkeling, scuba diving, and natural history trips. This paradise is a combination of tropical wilderness and beaches, catalogued by the National Geographic Society as one of the most biologically intense places on Earth! We will explore Corcovado National Park, and Caño Island Biological Reserve.
