For this new seminar, I have asked the speakers to focus on the tests that are currently available to veterinarians. The discussion will include how and when they use the tests, what the tests mean, what they don’t mean and when not to test. Along with how tests help in the management of diseases, there will be a discussion of the overall management of the diseases presented.

This seminar is approved for 16 CE hrs. IVS is also approve in NY & NC.

This program has been submitted for 16 hours of continuing education credit in jurisdictions, which recognize AAVSB’s RACE approval; however, participants should be aware that some boards have limitations on the number of hours accepted in certain categories and /or restrictions on certain methods of delivery of continuing education. Room Description

The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa, a Palm Springs hotel provide guests with an array of accommodations. All of our oversized guestrooms & suites showcase soothing taupe tones with textured accents. You’ll enjoy an amazing night’s sleep in our Westin Heavenly Bed®, with crisp, white 250–thread count sheets and custom mattresses.  We also feature the Heavenly Bath for a spa-like shower experience. 

Our Palm Springs hotel rooms feature nine different guestroom experiences. Our traditional guestrooms are 525 square feet with a private balcony. Upgrade your traditional room and enjoy a resort, pool or golf view from the privacy of your balcony.  Indulge in the unsurpassed luxury of a suite.  Our Palm Springs hotel suites range from 600 square feet to over 2,000 square feet. Standard amenities in all our Palm Springs hotel rooms and suites include a working desk equipped with outlets, the Westin Heavenly Bed with a oversized down comforter and hypo-allergenic pillows, cable television with in-room movies and a private balcony or patio with patio furniture. Guest bathrooms include double sinks, deluxe bath amenities, make-up/shaving mirror and a hair dryer.

Group Run of House room rate: $259.00 dbl per night plus taxes & fees

*Run of House means the best available room at the time of check-in.

Additional Fees (subject to change without notice):

  • State and local taxes are currently 13.065%
  • Business Improvement Development Assessment fee is currently 2%
  • $16.00 per room, per night, plus tax resort fee.  The Westin has discounted the resort fee for our group.  Normally the resort Charge is $32 per day plus tax.  The Resort Charge includes: in room high speed internet access (wired or wireless), complimentary self parking, fitness center and tennis court access, day use of Spa facilities; steam room, whirlpool, relaxation room, renewal refresh & shower.
  • The hotel rates above are based on single or double occupancy.  For additional adults (anyone over the age of 18yrs) staying in the room, with a max of 4 people per room, there is an additional fee of $35 per night, per additional person.

Check-In: 3:00pm; Check-Out: 12:00pm (noon)

Cancellations: Because it is high season in Palm Springs, you will be charged for 2 nights room and tax if you cancel within 7 days of your scheduled arrival.  No-shows will be charged for their complete scheduled stay.  

An early departure fee of one night’s room rate will apply if a guest checks out prior to the confirmed check-out date. 

Late check-outs are solely at the discretion of the hotel and are based on availability on the day of check-out.  Guests staying in their rooms beyond the check-out time without the Resort’s authorization will be charged a one night’s penalty.

From Ontario Airport
  • Exit Ontario Airport towards the Freeway 10.
  • Take the Freeway 10 East until you come to the Bob Hope Drive/Ramon Road Exit.
  • Exit here and turn right onto Ramon Road and then left onto Bob Hope Drive.
  • Continue for 2 lights to Dinah Shore Drive and turn right.
  • The resort entrance is on the left side at the light.

From Los Angeles International Airport

  • Exit the airport and merge onto 105 Freeway East, then merge onto 605 Freeway North.
  • Next merge onto 10 Freeway East and exit at the Bob Hope Drive/Ramon Road Exit and turn right onto Ramon Road.
  • Turn left on Bob Hope Drive. Continue for 2 lights to Dinah Shore Drive.
  • Turn right onto Dinah Shore Drive, and the resort entrance is on the left side at the light.

From East

  • Take Freeway 10 West to the Bob Hope Drive/Ramon Road Exit and turn left.
  • Turn left again at the Bob Hope Drive light. Continue for 2 lights to Dinah Shore Drive and turn right.

From Palm Springs Airport

  • Exit airport entrance and turn left onto El Cielo Road.
  • Continue south to Ramon Road and turn left. Travel east to Bob Hope Drive and turn right.
  • Continue south to Dinah Shore Drive and turn right.
  • The resort entrance will be on left side at the first light.

From North

  • Take Freeway 15 South to Freeway 10 East. Exit the Bob Hope Drive/Ramon Road Exit and turn right.
  • Turn left onto Bob Hope at the light and continue for 2 lights to Dinah Shore Drive.
  • Turn right, and the resort’s entrance is on the left-hand side at the first light.

From West

  • Take I-10 East to the Bob Hope Drive/Ramon Road Exit.
  • Turn right onto Ramon Road and then left onto Bob Hope Drive.

From South

  • Take Freeway 55 North to Freeway 91 East.
  • At Riverside, take Interstate 60 East, which runs into Interstate 10 East.
