Group premium room rate – $ 265.00 dbl/night + taxes + resort fee
Room rates are exclusive of 13% occupancy tax, and a $0.75 per room per night California Tourism Assessment that is subject to change in accordance with State and Local Taxes.
A $1.00 charge per room per night will be added to your bill as a generous donation for the enhancement and preservation of the Yosemite Experience. 100% of your donation goes to the Yosemite Conservancy (YC), the non-profit organization that not only offers many programs like Free Art Classes and Yosemite Theater, but also organizes volunteers that help with many park projects, manages wilderness permits, provides bear proof canisters, and publishes many of the best guidebooks about Yosemite.

Things To Do
Great resorts are ultimately defined by their surrounding environments, and in this regard, Tenaya Lodge is exceptional. The property’s full-service Concierge Department is the place to learn about the many Yosemite activities inside and outside the gates of the National Park.
The activities available include a popular evening flashlight hike, riding the network of mountain bike trails that crisscross the surrounding forest, a guided hike to a secret waterfall and the neighboring Sugar Pine Railroad’s Moonlight Special dinner excursion.
A lively repertoire of year-round events and Yosemite activities draws a steady flow of adventure-seekers to Tenaya Lodge. Tenaya Lodge’s Guest Concierge Department specializes in revealing the region’s distinct options for every age, agility and interest. Yosemite Park Details
Yosemite National Park embraces almost 1,200 square miles of scenic wild lands set aside in 1890 to preserve a portion of the central Sierra Nevada that stretches along California’s eastern flank. The park was established on October 1, 1890.
The protected status that Yosemite Park has enjoyed over the last 120 years has allowed for the preservation of many of its plant species and wildlife.
Yosemite National Park covers a huge area of the western Sierra Nevada Mountains in central California and has innumerable lakes, meadows, forests and granite summits with endless unspoiled alpine scenery. At the center is Yosemite Valley, a half-mile deep depression carved by glaciers during the last ice age, which now has soaring 3,000 foot high domes and many powerful waterfalls, including three of the world’s highest. Visitors all year can gaze up from the Valley floor to appreciate the enormity of it all. During summer (or for those willing to do an overnight ski trip in winter), the view from Glacier Point provides a breathtaking perspective from above.
Today visitation to Yosemite National Park is around 5 million visitors annually. Visitation exceeded one million in 1954 for the first time and by 1976 over two million people were visiting Yosemite annually. However, even with the increasing visitation to the park, all you have to do is lift your eyes ever so slightly above the crowds and you’ll feel your heart instantly moved by unrivalled splendors. The haughty profile of Half Dome, the hulking presence of El Capitan, the drenching mists of Yosemite Falls, the gemstone lakes of the high country’s subalpine wilderness, the giant sequoias of Wawona, Hetch Hetchy’s pristine pathways, all of these beautiful natural wonders will make you feel at one with the pristine Yosemite wilderness.

Cancellations:
- All individual guest rooms must be cancelled 30 days or more prior to arrival for the guest to receive a full refund.
- All reductions to a guest’s length of stay must be received at least 30 days or more prior to arrival. If a reduction in room nights is made within 30 days of arrival, the guest will be required to pay for the full original length of stay.
- All early departures, no shows and late arrivals will be charged the contracted nightly rate for each night the reserved room is not occupied by the individual.

Registration is simple. Browse upcoming seminars using the search on our homepage, then click through to the seminar page and complete registration online. You will receive an email confirmation once your registration is complete, and a separate email confirming your payment. Please keep both for your records. You can also call our office at 1-800-487-5650 to register by phone.
IVS holds group space at each seminar venue and handles hotel bookings on your behalf. You can book accommodations at the same time as your seminar registration or separately — whichever you prefer.
On your selected seminar’s page, click the Accommodations tab and scroll down to the Book Accommodations button. Please note: if you need a room outside the standard seminar dates, availability will need to be confirmed with the hotel. Hotel bookings made through our site are not automatic and require some processing time. Once confirmed, you will receive a hotel confirmation letter from IVS by email. All hotels require a credit card to guarantee your booking, and cut-off dates apply — early registration is always advised. Our team is available at 1-800-487-5650, Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm PST.
10% of the registration fee is non-refundable. If you cancel more than 30 days before the seminar start date, you may choose a refund of the remaining 90% or a Future Transfer Credit (FTC). If you cancel within 30 days, only a Future Transfer Credit is issued. The FTC can be applied to any future IVS seminar within 2 years of your cancellation date; it is forfeited if not used within that window. To cancel, you must contact our office and receive email confirmation of your cancellation before the seminar begins. Cancellations requested after the seminar has started, or without email confirmation on file, will forfeit the full registration fee. Please also note that cancellations will remove any Loyalty Program points earned from that registration.
IVS specializes in small group seminars — usually fewer than 80 people per seminar. Most veterinarians appreciate the smaller setting, as it allows for more interaction with speakers and other participants and gives everyone a chance to get their questions answered.
International Veterinary Seminars is an AAVSB RACE-approved provider of CE, which is accepted by all state boards throughout the US and Canada.
