For this seminar we have selected Buddy Dive Resort.

Buddy Dive Resort is located on the waterfront north of town, just a couple of steps from the crystal clear ocean and its many dive sites. The resort has eleven buildings with spacious studios, one, two and three bedroom apartments, a complete dive center, two swimming pools, two restaurants, vehicle rental and the famous drive-thru fill station.

Buddy dive resort:

Each apartment has a fully equipment kitchen, spacious living area with cable TV, telephone, patio or balcony, air-conditioned bedrooms with each its own bathroom with shower.

The studio has a small kitchen, separate bedroom with air-conditioning and a bathroom/shower. They also have cable TV, telephone and a small patio.

All apartments and studios have a room safe, with no extra charge, to store valuables.

For this seminar: please call our office at 800-487-5650 to reserve your selected package. We have listed examples of rooms at the resort.  Our office can update you on what is currently available when you call.   Pricing is also available for only one person in a room.

 

Buddy Dive Resort:  each person selects either the Drive & dive or Adventure package:

  • Based on 2 people in a studio the costs are:
    • US$1379.35 per person per week for Drive and dive
    • US$1449.35 per person per week for adventure package
  • Based on 2 people in a 1-bedroom apartment the costs are:
    •  US$1492.75 per person per week for Drive and dive
    • US$1562.75 per person per week for adventure package

 

The Drive & Dive package inclusions are as follows:

  • 7 nights in selected accommodations
  • 7 days rental vehicle (manual transmission, incl. insurance)
  • 6 days of unlimited shore dives
  • American style breakfast buffet daily
  • Free Wifi
  • Airport transfers

The divers will get 6 days of unlimited air fills incl. free nitrox upgrade (as long as they are nitrox certified).

Those on the Adventure package will get the following: snorkel equipment rental for 7 days, unguided boat snorkel trip, 1 guided cave exploration, 1 guided mangrove kayak tour, one trip to Klein Bonaire

 

Terms

All reservations must be for a minimum of 7 nights.

A non-refundable deposit of US $100.00 is due at the time of booking. You will be charged for your complete stay at approximately 60 days prior to your scheduled arrival.

Cancellation penalties: For cancellations more than (60) days prior to arrival, deposit is refunded.

59 – 29 days prior to arrival: 25% of the total reservation is non-refundable
28 – 15 days prior to arrival: 50% of the total reservation is non-refundable
14 – 1 days prior to arrival: 75% of the total reservation is non-refundable
Day of arrival 100% of the total reservation is non-refundable  

No refunds for no shows or early departures.  We highly suggest trip insurance and can give you a quote if you’d like, just let us know.

Also any unused portions of the accommodations are non-refundable.

Getting There

Airport

Several major airlines fly direct to Bonaire on Saturdays.  You can also fly into Aruba or Curacao and connect onto one of the local airlines that fly to Bonaire.

You will need to provide our office with your flight schedule- this will allow Buddy Dive to pick you up upon arrival in Bonaire. Once at the resorts, you will be provided with a pickup truck for your complete stay. (This is included in the resort package)
