For this very popular seminar, I have asked two of the worlds preeminent GI specialists to present a practical seminar on what’s new in the management of canine & feline GI problems.
Dr. Stanley Marks & Dr. Michael Lappin are two of the worlds leading authorities on gastrointestinal diseases. Dr. Marks expertise also involves esophageal disorders, small intestinal diseases, endoscopic diagnostic techniques and nutritional therapy for the GI patient. Dr. Lappin is the world’s leading authority on feline GI diseases and disorders. Both speakers have published extensively in all the major journals & texts including JAVMA, Compendium on Continuing Education & Textbook of Internal Medicine.
Stan & Mike have lectured at the regional and national meetings and have promised me that the seminars have been structured to maximize the material that you will take with you to your practice. The lectures will detail how to manage the majority of the problems when you don’t have access to an endoscope!

Journey back in time with Maui’s traditional “kahiko” hula dancers. Black Rock, or Pu`u Keka`a in Hawaiian, is known as an Ancient Hawaiian holiday retreat for royalty (Ali`i). As in olden days, there are endless ocean activities such as clear-water snorkeling with turtles, sailing on the Teralani, kayaking with dolphins, scuba diving and deep sea fishing, all nearby our spectacular 23-acre ocean-front resort.
In addition to Ka`anapali Beach, the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa offers a plethora of Hawaiian cultural activities to help you experience the Spirit of Aloha. As the sun sets over Black Rock, experience the magic of these islands with our one of a kind Torch Lighting and Cliff Dive Ceremony, found only at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa.

Most major carriers fly to the Maui international airport at Kahului. You then grab your rental car and head off towards the Sheraton which is located on the north west side of the Island , just above Lahaina- at the Ka’anapali resort.
We recommend that you rent a car for the entire stay as this allows you the freedom to get out and explore the Island. Most airlines offer a fly/drive package for Maui – please call our travel office at 800-487-5650 for assistance.
