Right outside Red Mountain Resort’s back door, a world of outdoor adventures awaits. Red and white Navajo sandstone capped by an overlay of black lava rock makes hiking, biking and photography in our local State and National parks an experience for the senses. The parks are an amazing display of desert animal life, unique botanicals and dynamic rock formations. Bordering Red Mountain, Snow Canyon State Park is home to 7,000 acres of red rock canyons and cliffs, lava caves and two volcanic cones. The moderate winter climate of Southern Utah creates an ideal environment to enjoy outdoor activities in Utah year round.
TripAdvisor named Zion the Nation’s Best National Park. When you enter Zion National Park you will experience a feeling that won’t quite fit inside your camera. The colors will astound you. The perspective will humble you. The immensity will leave you in awe. Zion is a destination where a one-night-stay just won’t do. Enjoy hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding and ATVs.
More natural, scenic attractions than anywhere in the world, Bryce Canyon National Park is the centerpiece to an area that offers America’s highest concentration of natural scenic wonders. Bryce Canyon National Park is actually a series of amphitheaters along the eastern rim of a large plateau. Visitors may drive along the rim to scenic overlooks or step over the rim to the valley below on many hiking trails.
National Geographic called the St. George area one of the 50 best places to live and play and TripAdvisor ranked it their “Number One Travel Hotspot.” There are 12 stunning golf courses, four State Parks, some of the best rated hotels and spas in the world. Excellent dining, shopping, museums and galleries to explore as well.
