Veterinarians are having to take on more and more as the availability of emergency care and access to specialists can be limited by case-load and staffing. Drs. Hackett and Marvel have combined forces to give you the tools to handle a wide range of walk-in urgent problems and emergencies. Their practical approach will prepare you for many of the common problems that will land on your doorstep need same-day attention. They have developed case-based, interactive lectures full of realistic examples, so you’ll have the confidence to make it work.
In this all-new seminar, Dr’s Marvel and Hackett will discuss handling those walk-in, same-day cases that challenge any type of small animal practice. From admission, triage and stabilization through sedation, anesthesia, surgery, and aftercare, we’ll take you through our whole process for these cases. We know you have a busy schedule and heavy outpatient caseload, so we will discuss strategies we use with our staff and colleagues to manage the telephone triage and case flow with plenty of real-world examples that we all see daily.
