This all new seminar has been designed to provide you with practical information on the current thoughts on anesthesia along with acute and chronic pain management in your practice. The combination of two Anesthesiologist/pain management specialists will provide a unique approach to the patient management. Dr’s Grubb and Robertson will discuss their approach to management of patients requiring anesthesia along with their assessment and management of pain in practice today and also anesthesia and analgesia for emergency/critical care patients.

Additional Fees:

  • Resort fee- $40.00 per room, per night has been waived for IVS attendees!
  • Porterage charges and housekeeping charges are voluntary.
  • All rates are european plan and are subject to Applicable Hawaii state and hotel taxes which are currently 14.962%.

If you extend your stay beyond our group room dates : full prepayment must be received by the Hotel within fourteen (14) days of booking. 

From thirty days up to seven days prior to arrival: All cancellations and no-shows will be assessed two night’s room rental, plus applicable taxes. Any adjustments to the reservations will be assessed half of the cancelled night(s) rate, plus applicable taxes.

Seven days prior up to arrival date: All reductions, cancellations and no-shows received within this period will be assessed the cost of the full length of stay, plus applicable taxes.

You will also be charged for the complete scheduled stay if you are a no-show or depart early.

LIH- Lihue airport is 15 miles away.

Airport Shuttle 

Express Shuttle service provided by Robert’s Hawaii between Lihue Airport and Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa is available for a fee. Prearranged Shuttle Service guarantees a faster, worry-free arrival and departure.


Taxi phones are located curbside at baggage claim areas. Cost is approximately $50.00 each way.

Hired Drivers

Uber and Lyft are available on Kauai.

Rental Car 

All major companies are represented on Kauai. To pick up your car, proceed from the baggage claim area to the Rent-A-Car booths across the street from the terminal. Avis is also available in the lobby of our resort.

We recommend you have a rental car – the Island is big and there is so much to see and do!
