Dr. Heidi Hottinger received her D.V.M. from The Ohio State University in 1990, followed by an internship at The Animal Medical Center in New York City. She then completed a surgical residency at Michigan State University with special rotations in surgical oncology at Colorado State University and Flint Medical Center. Following her residency, she returned to The Animal Medical Center in New York where she held the position of staff surgeon and instructor for two years. She is board certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. She joined Gulf Coast Veterinary Surgery in 1996.
